I work with couples to “zoom out” and take a look at how they interact with each other. There are some important truths about marriages we can use to heal strained relationships:
- We don’t have to agree to coexist and love. Families disagree all the time, but there are ways to do so that preserve relationships instead of harming them.
- We know, from real research, what actually tears families apart. It’s not always what you think. By getting inside our relationships and understanding them in certain ways, we can have hope.
