I work from a perspective that respects your experience, whatever that feels like to you. We begin by my getting to know you and your reasons for starting therapy.
My approach does not focus on diagnosing you, but emphasizes your uniqueness. Still, some find it useful to speak of difficulties with specific terms. If you feel any of the following applies to you, we can explore ways to help:
- Obsessiveness and/or Compulsivity
- Eating disorders
- Sleep difficulties
- Sexual difficulties
This list is not all-inclusive. Often, the opportunity to discuss your feelings and experiences with a compassionate, non-judgmental person is a great start to the healing process. From there, we work together to take therapy in a direction that’s right for you.
