I see clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and work or parenting stress. Maybe you just feel stuck, not wanting to be “fixed” but are seeking a fresh voice to help you wade through your current struggles.
I particularly enjoy helping people who struggle with boundary difficulties in their daily lives. While some are trying to heal from codependent/narcissistic relationships, others are simply trying to find a voice and learn how to assert themselves in productive ways.
Overcoming these struggles allows us to manage our own emotions without trying to take inappropriate responsibility for the happiness or wellbeing of others. It can reduce our own anxious feelings, and help us choose more fulfilling relationships.
We start with compassion and empathy. From there, we work together to help you find your own path. If this sounds like a good fit for you, I invite you to contact me for a free 30-minute consultation.
My approach does not focus on diagnosing you, but emphasizes your uniqueness. Still, some find it useful to speak of difficulties with specific terms. If you feel any of the following applies to you, we can explore ways to help:
- Obsessiveness and/or Compulsivity
- Eating disorders
- Sleep difficulties
- Sexual difficulties
This list is not all-inclusive. Often, the opportunity to discuss your feelings and experiences with a compassionate, non-judgmental person is a great start to the healing process. From there, we work together to take therapy in a direction that’s right for you.
If you think we may be able to work together to help you reach your goals, I’d love to hear from you.
